My background in the construction industry started in Malaysia during the mid-80’s as a qualified Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager responsible for specifying stone and tile for large scale projects as well as overseeing the running of the projects.
Moving to NZ in the late 80’s I worked on many large scale commercial projects as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project manager.
Many relationships were formed with major main contractors and in 1999 I started The Tile People – WHY because I believed I could offer the industry a full comprehensive package (a 1 stop shop) to eliminate many of the issues that arise on large scale projects.
My team and I are committed to offering our clients exceptional service from assisting in the selection of material through to the handover. I am constantly challenging how we can do things better / faster / smarter to ensure excellent results. When I am not off shore sourcing new innovative material to offer to our clients I will be playing golf, socializing and dining out.
