Glenn Obery and his team at The Tile People were engaged by Fletcher Construction to carry out floor and wall tiling works on the $150M Auckland University Medical School redevelopment project. Of particular note was the large atrium foyer within the new Boyle building which was specified with high quality stone floor tiles. The challenge being to lay the stone in the most trafficked area of the building right in the busiest final weeks of the project. Glenn’s team of skilled tradesmen took to the challenge and worked numerous night shifts, completing areas and protecting ahead of the following days activities. Thanks to their good planning, cooperation and great effort the end result was a quality finish, on time and with no disruption to the other building trades.
