Project overview | Jimmy's Point apartments are a statement at the water's edge. A five level residential development with 30 luxury apartments by Winton. Part of the newest Hobsonville Point precinct.

Design objective | The cladding material references the heritage terracotta roof tiles of the adjacent Officers houses, connecting with the site’s former use as an airforce base.

The vision of this project is to create a seamless cladding flow, minimizing visual transitions at the joints for a clean, uninterrupted aesthetic. Achieving this has been a challenge due to the building's complex shape and the junctions with other elements. This required the application of several iterations of engineering and design principles to bring the vision to life.

The Tile People installation team embraced the challenge with dedication and enthusiasm, consistently putting their best efforts into executing the intricate layout with precision. Their commitment has been integral to realizing the project’s design aspirations.
